A: A good starting point is to look for a stove that is Ecodesign Ready. Appliances that meet this criteria are the most clean burning on the market and comply with European air pollution targets set for 2022.

The installation of open fires will be banned from January 2022, so now is the perfect time to consider replacing these with highly efficient, clean burning wood stoves.
