We are one of 30 hospitals within the Nuffield Health Group, a national healthcare organisation, set in beautiful grounds. Our unique single storey design ensures easy access for disabled persons and those utilising wheelchairs or crutches or experiencing mobility issues and boasts generous, free car parking facilities.

Unless you’ve had cause to use us (and possibly, even if you have!) you may not know that we offer a comprehensive range of first class medical and surgical services, using advanced technological equipment delivered by a wide range of specialised Consultants and nursing staff and supported by a wide range of non-clinical services.

This multi-disciplinary team of professionals works towards a patient centred approach in all we do, continuously striving to deliver an excellent service following regular patient, staff and Consultant feedback. As such, our nursing care and services are constantly developing and improving in response to this feedback, new technology and continuous professional development. All of our staff are highly trained with an overall aim of creating a caring environment to encourage a speedy recovery and well-being. The sum effect of this approach is a dynamic and successful treatment pathway supported by a holistic approach to the individuals under our care.

We are about to launch a new Lifestyle Suite in the hospital towards delivering an integrated weight management and lifestyle suite of services to individuals who are looking for both surgical and non-surgical treatments to enhance their quality of life and fitness. These include bariatric, cosmetic and ophthalmic treatments inclusive of the latest VNUS procedure for varicose veins. The service will offer ongoing patient support through a consultant - led support group and was launched in November 2010. We are all very excited by both this – and other new developments at the hospital and hope you will come to one of the many events scheduled for 2015 highlighting the hospital, it’s people and it’s services.

This approach is facilitated through various means including:
