Déda Launch
Déda on Chapel Street, Derby, is holding a weekend of events in October to celebrate the completion of its £412,000 redevelopment programme. The work included a new dance and circus studio, conference and meeting rooms and the installation of new seating and flooring in the existing theatre. Déda has also launched a BA Hons Dance degree in partnership with the University of Derby.
Tavaziva Dance kick off proceedings on Friday, with a pre-show talk by artistic director Bawren Tavaziva. On Saturday, a performance of the new LaDeDa Burlesque Cabaret will be followed by a day of family fun with circus skills and dance workshops. For details visit www.deda.uk.com
