Hall for Cornwall has announced 20 new shows heading to the Cornwall Playhouse in 2026 and 2027, with the new programme bringing a mix of drama, comedy, dance, family entertainment and live music to Truro.

The latest line-up includes returning favourites Justin Hayward and Björn Again, alongside major stage titles including Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, Twelve Angry Men and Pride and Prejudice (sort of).
Among the headline drama productions is Twelve Angry Men, running from Tuesday, January 19 to Saturday, January 23, 2027, followed by The Mousetrap from Monday, May 24 to Saturday, May 29, 2027.

Comedy offerings include the improvised Edinburgh Fringe hit Murder, She Didn’t Write on Tuesday, January 26, 2027, while Pride and Prejudice (sort of) returns to Truro from Monday, March 15 to Saturday, March 20, 2027.

Dance audiences will be able to see Olivier Award-nominated The Rite of Spring: An Evening of Seeta Patel Dance on Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1, 2027, while families can look forward to Fireman Sam Live! The Lost Pirate Treasure on Sunday, April 18, 2027.

The music programme starts with Justin Hayward’s The Story In Your Eyes Tour on Thursday, October 8, 2026, and continues with shows including One Night of Elvis, Country Roads, Sky Full of Stars: A Tribute to Coldplay, Money For Nothing, The Magic of Motown, The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, The Dubliners Encore, Björn Again and BAT! 50th Anniversary – Bat Out of Hell.

Wildlife cameraman and presenter Hamza Yassin will also bring My Life Behind the Lens to the Cornwall Playhouse on Sunday, February 7, 2027.

Hall for Cornwall said the new season reflects the breadth of productions coming to its Truro venue, which reopened in 2021 after a multi-million-pound transformation.
