This two-acre romantic garden is arranged in a series of ‘rooms’ and is a collaborative design between architect husband and artist wife. The result is a formal structure of walls, steps and bridges, softened by billowing herbaceous planting, scented roses and a wildflower meadow.

A stunning, nine-acre garden reclaimed from farmland. There’s a
woodland, a meadow, pond, rill, roses and peonies and lots to interest visitors. The aim is to create a combination of interesting plants coupled with habitat for wildlife over a total of 9½ acres.

Fan Cottage
A one-acre garden in a stunning setting with views over the Lerryn river. The thriving wildlife pond is the hub of the garden surrounded by shrubberies, fruit trees and vegetable patches. There is an interesting collection of bonsai trees.

Largely created on the hardstanding of a former egg packing station, this amazing garden is divided into different areas and features exotic shrubs, ferns, vegetables, fruit trees and a Scandi area. The beautiful rose covered Moon Gate leads to a tranquil pond.

Bucks Head House Garden
This 1.5 acre garden is situated on a windy hillside, yet thanks to windbreak hedging a delightful cottage garden and arboretum have been created. The unique collection of rare specialist trees and shrubs thrive in an enchanting setting and are underplanted with shrubs and perennials specially selected to enhance the setting and increase biodiversity.

Lametton Mill
Nestled in the Looe Valley, the garden has been created from a wilderness. Featured on the TV programme Grand Designs, the garden was newly created in 2023. It has been skilfully designed with a variety of specimen trees, and an emphasis on herbaceous borders and roses. The garden has been laid out on different levels incorporating several seating areas with a tranquil pond as a central feature.

The owner has a keen eye for using colour in this beautiful, country garden. The palette changes from pastels to fiery hues as the season progresses and is particularly demonstrated in the herbaceous borders. There’s also a dry terrace, fruit growing area, woodland and kitchen garden.
