There are sumptuous suites and traditional bedrooms in the restored White House. There are contemporary style deluxe Woodland Rooms. And there are 22 self-catering Woodland Homes, some with two bedrooms, others with three. That means we can find the perfect accommodation for just about anyone - those with children in tow, and those who are getting away from it all, groups of friends or romantic couples.
In The White House are nine sumptuous bedrooms and suites, each full of individual character, that reflect the mansion’s Victorian heritage and make the most of the glorious parkland views. There are four-poster beds, luxurious Egyptian linen, roll-top baths, drench showers, and Aromatherapy Associates toiletries for you to enjoy.
Connected to The White House are 56 stylish, contemporary Woodland Rooms, nestled in the wooded slopes of the Estate. Each of the Standard, Accessible, Family and Deluxe rooms has a generous private balcony offering majestic views of the Estate's sweeping parkland, across the Pentewan Valley to the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty beyond.
Deluxe rooms offer a choice of contemporary open-plan layout or a more traditional en-suite style. There are also Standard inter-connecting rooms suitable for families (including well-behaved dogs). The south-facing rooms have a substantially glazed elevation, affording maximum light and mesmerising views. Generous balconies offer guests the opportunity to be at one with the magnificent flora and fauna of the Estate. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, power-showers and complimentary Wi-Fi cater for every modern need.
On the Estate we also have 22 Woodland Homes that blend seamlessly into the natural environment. These architect-designed, 2 and 3 bedroom self-catering homes are clad in sustainably-sourced cedar wood and natural slate.
