This sensory journey through the Isles of Scilly, from Wolf Rock, will lure you in with the timeless words of Michael Morpugo, former Children’s Laureate, and keep you hooked with the memories of author and sea writer Sam Llewellyn as well as Booker Prize nominee Jim Crace.

The tale of one family’s love of this archipelago is told by Carolyn Mendelsohn, 2013 Professional Photographer of the Year, with a heartfelt picture book story of visits to the islands with her husband and children.

Cornwall based photographer, and frequent visitor, Phil Nichols spent four days on the islands, capturing the unspoilt archipelago. His images very much reflect the feeling of being on the islands, through landscape, laughter and the islands’ offer.

Cornwall Life’s special issue on the Isles of Scilly is in the shops from 20 January!
