1. TAKE TO THE OCEAN
Try your hand at stand up paddle boarding (SUP) or a range of other ocean-based activities. The Ocean Sports Centre on Carbis Bay beach, holds regular SUPwise approved classes and coaching sessions which are run by some of the country’s leading watersports professionals.
2. STROLL TO ST IVES ON THE SOUTH WEST COAST PATH
Take a gentle 20-minute stroll along the South West Coast Path from Carbis Bay to St Ives and enjoy spectacular views over St Ives Bay. The route takes in prehistoric field positions, a Celtic saint’s medieval chapel and a fisherman’s lookout hut. On arrival in St Ives, explore the charming maze of narrow cobbled streets and fisherman’s cottages in the heart of old St Ives, known to the locals as Downalong. Visit the local museum and delve into the life and times of bygone St Ives. Return to Carbis Bay by train on the local branch line - and enjoy the view sitting down.

Discover the spellbinding home and unique garden of artist Dame Barbara Hepworth. The trips are family-friendly for all ages and dogs are allowed. Up to two children go free with a family ticket during off-season periods.
