Holiday Cornwall is a well-established holiday letting business located in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Falmouth is one of the world’s deepest harbours with its historic port and castle, sandy beaches and home to the National Maritime Museum. It is a lively university town with many excellent restaurants and a golf course overlooking Falmouth Bay.
Most of the properties lie to the South of Falmouth, either overlooking the Bay, or on the Helford River Estuary. This sunken river valley has been described as the “Jewell in Cornwall’s Crown”. Its unspoilt natural beauty has made it a favourite haven for yachtsmen and home to the rich and famous. The hamlet of Helford Passage sits in a sheltered cove, where The Ferryboat Inn is set above the beach and is a short pedestrian ferry ride from the Shipwrights Arms on the other side of the river.
Boats can be hired at Helford Passage, which is within 1 mile of 3 gardens of national importance, Trebah, Glendurgan and Penjerrick. Country and coastal walks abound and there are a number of local golf courses. Attractions such as the Tate Gallery at St Ives or The Eden Project are all within easy travelling distance.
Their friendly and helpful staff go out of their way to make sure that customers have a trouble free and enjoyable stay, with a number of local businesses also offering discounts to Holiday Cornwall’s clients.
