The hamlet of Helford Passage sits in a sheltered cove, where The Ferryboat Inn is set above the beach and is a short pedestrian ferry ride from the Shipwrights Arms on the other side of the river.
Boats can be hired at Helford Passage, which is within 1 mile of 3 gardens of national importance, Trebah, Glendurgan and Penjerrick. Country and coastal walks abound and there are a number of local golf courses. Attractions such as the Tate Gallery at St Ives or The Eden Project are all within easy travelling distance.
